Nicholas Solomon and Caroline Larcombe are the directors of Larcombe + Solomon Architecture and Interiors, based in Sydney, Australia and founded in 1991. We are an experienced practice committed to searching for the unique response inherent in every project, striving to create architecture that is memorable and specific.

Rather than starting the design process with a pre-determined architectural style we are driven by an outcome that responds uniquely to its site, the architectural parameters and the needs of our clients.

Through rigorous exploration, drawing and model making we can determine the best way forward, employing our understanding of architectural design - proportion, scale, light, movement through space and use of materials. We also engage in an ongoing dialogue with our clients throughout this process.

The practice is based on a solid foundation of design excellence, proficient project management, cost management and experience. Our portfolio of work has been recognised by the Australian Institute of Architects, National Women in Construction Association and the National Timber Building Association. Caroline and Nicholas are both actively involved in all aspect of a project, from initial inception to detailed architectural and interior design, consultation with all consultants and governing bodies, through to final completion.
